The new 2013 Fifth Anniversary S.P.A.Z. Patch and Sticker stuff has commenced on Modern Buddy!
Five years people… Five amazing years!

Greetings everyone! It is that time again when we focus our attention on riding, the weather, and… S.P.A.Z.!
Thanks to everyone who has participated in the past, first of all. Without all of you this crazy thing would not have come this far.
I know that a lot has changed, the enthusiasm level has changed, many of us have lost shops in our area and lost scooter friends. But S.P.A.Z. is still alive and kicking.
Since I pretty much run the thing myself at this point, I go into hibernation during the off season to keep my real life as a normal human afloat. (Barely these days. lol) But the juices are flowing, the zombies are stirring and we are gearing up for 2013 here at S.P.A.Z. HQ!
Even though we skipped a year due to my health issues, this is our FIVE year anniversary! Can you believe it’s been 5 years!? :D
To celebrate this event, this years design is going to be… well, I won’t say more, yet. ;)
But I can say this, there will be stickers and patches. Once I have the design done I will announce it and start taking pre-orders for stickers and the patches. And of course, the patches will be a limited run per usual.
I hope everyone is doing well and getting excited for more S.P.A.Z. goodness! And I hope to see some new names and faces in the process this year.
So, that’s it for now… I just wanted to stir you up a little and remind you that I am here, getting ready for the big SPAZ 2013 launch. :D

We are officially sold out of stickers.
And we have only 1 patch left.
As I’ve said in the forum, I will do a 2nd run of stickers if I get interest in 20-30 more, but the patches are done for the year.
The limited design this year was amazing, I think, and I cannot wait to work on next years design for patches and stickers!

Only 4 stickers left. 2012 was great for SPAZ.
Yep. We BLASTED through 200 stickers pretty fast!
And patches, we are nearly out of those too.
I hold a few aside for lost order replacement but that’s it. I only keep a few each for myself and the rest go to you guys.
I think since the enthusiasm has died down, we probably won’t be doing any more for this years patch or stickers. Unless someone comes to me with a large enough order anyway.
I want to thank every one of you who ordered either stickers or patches for helping to make this happen this year. I seriously appreciate you being there, participating. I don’t make money on this, I do it purely to get SPAZ love out there into the scooter world.
I always try to toss in some extra stuff with each order, I hand write everything, and always put a note or a thanks on each packing slip. This stuff is packed with love yall. :D
I already have some stuff brewing for next year’s patch and it’s only June of this year. I am not sure if I will do a guest artist or do something a bit more radical and funky. Who knows.
Special thanks to our guest artist this year, Jared Hensley, for his kick-buttocks design, to Josh at The Arche Agency for helping get Jared on board affordably, and to each and every one of you for buying patches and stickers in advance and patiently waiting for me to order and ship them to you.

I finally put my SPAZ 2012 sticker on Bamboo. This one is front and center. And I have quite a few stickers so this is a prime spot for a sweeet sticker. :D
Dropping off the second batch of sticker orders, which gets me all caught up to current orders as of this morning.

So if you want some, you gotta act fast. I will run another batch if there’s demand but sales have slowed now that everyone’s got their orders in already. I think most everyone pre-ordered!

The Second/Final (so far) Batch of sticker orders is ready.
I’ve got them all packaged up and ready to take to the post office in the morning!
We still have some left, but not many. You guys gobbled up the stickers like you did the patches. And we’re left with a happy plate. :D
I will continue to make stickers available for sale, so feel free to order more, spread the word around. If we sell enough I’ll get a 2nd run.
Same goes with the patches, but I’d need to sell 30+ to get a 2nd run of those for this years patches. And I have about 4 of those left as it is.
